1) Scope Of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Shopix collects, uses, stores, and shares personal and business information when sellers use the Shopix platform and when customers place orders through a Shopix-powered online store.

2) Information We Collect

  • Seller Account Information: name, email address, phone number, login details, verification data, and account activity.
  • Business Information: business name, store link, logo, address, contact details, payment settings, subscription information, and store configuration.
  • Store Content: product names, images, prices, descriptions, categories, offers, policies, reviews, marketing content, and other materials uploaded by sellers.
  • Customer Order Information: customer name, phone number, email address, delivery information, order items, notes, uploaded reference files or payment receipts, selected payment method, and order status history.
  • Technical Information: IP address, approximate location, browser type, device information, cookies or local storage data, logs, and other usage or diagnostic information.
  • Support And Communication Data: emails, messages, inquiries, or feedback sent to Shopix.

3) How We Use Information

  • To create and manage seller accounts and storefronts.
  • To process, display, route, and track customer orders for the relevant seller.
  • To support payments, payment verification workflows, receipts, notifications, and order communications.
  • To provide customer support, technical support, onboarding, and account assistance.
  • To monitor usage, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, and improve platform reliability and performance.
  • To send service updates, billing notices, security alerts, and other important platform communications.

4) How Seller And Customer Data Is Shared

  • With The Seller: Customer order information is shared with the seller whose store the customer used, so the seller can fulfill and manage the order.
  • With Service Providers: Shopix uses third-party providers for hosting, storage, analytics, messaging, email delivery, infrastructure, and related services.
  • For Legal Or Safety Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or where reasonably necessary to protect Shopix, sellers, customers, or the public.
  • For Payment Workflows: Payment-related information may be shared with payment processors, banks, or technical service providers where needed to support the selected payment method.

5) Payment Information

If a seller enables online card payments or other digital payment services, payment processing may involve third-party providers. Shopix may receive transaction status, confirmation details, and limited payment metadata necessary to support the order workflow. Shopix does not claim ownership over a seller's revenue or customer relationships.

6) Cookies, Local Storage, And Similar Technologies

Shopix may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, support carts and checkout flows, remember preferences, improve performance, and maintain security.

7) Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain records, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of Shopix. Sellers may request account deletion, but some records may be retained where required for legitimate business, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

8) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9) Seller Responsibilities For Customer Data

Sellers are responsible for how they handle customer data received through Shopix, including order details, contact information, uploaded files, and communications. Sellers must use customer data only for legitimate business purposes related to fulfilling and managing orders unless they have another lawful basis to do otherwise.

10) Your Choices

  • Sellers can update many business details, storefront settings, and account information inside the dashboard.
  • Customers should contact the relevant seller directly for order-specific changes, delivery questions, returns, or refund requests.
  • Users may contact Shopix regarding privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests, subject to legal and operational limitations.

11) Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Shopix after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
